American Casino DailyNews. Insight. A broader perspective.

Write for Us

We welcome well-researched contributions that help readers understand the casino industry in the United States. Please read these guidelines before you pitch.

Last updated:

Topics we consider

  • How casino businesses work: operations, finance, development and the guest experience
  • Regulation and policy: licensing, compliance, state and tribal frameworks
  • Technology in gaming: systems, payments, security and data
  • The industry’s economic and social role in host communities
  • Responsible gambling and harm-reduction research

We do not accept casino reviews, bonus or promotional content, betting tips or articles written mainly to place a link.

Quality standards

  • Original, unpublished work written for us. Copied, spun or largely machine-generated text will be declined.
  • Accurate and sourced: link to primary sources such as regulators, legislation and company filings.
  • Balanced and clear, written for an informed general reader.
  • No misleading claims, no unverifiable statistics and no promotion of any operator.

Editorial review

Every submission is reviewed by our editors against our editorial policy. We may edit for length, clarity, accuracy and style, and will agree substantive changes with you. Submitting a pitch or article does not guarantee publication.

Links and commercial interests

We do not sell links or guarantee any kind of link. Any link in a published article is included only where it is useful to readers, at our editors’ discretion.

If you or your organisation have a commercial interest in the subject — for example you work for, advise or are paid by a company you mention — you must tell us when you pitch. Relevant interests are disclosed to readers on the article, and we may decline pieces where the interest is too close to the subject.

How to pitch

Email contact@americancasinodaily.com with “Contribution” in the subject line, including:

  • a short outline of your proposed article and why it matters to our readers;
  • your name and relevant background;
  • any commercial interest to declare;
  • links to one or two examples of your published writing, if available.

Please do not send finished articles with attachments on first contact. We aim to reply to every relevant pitch, but cannot always respond to messages that fall outside these guidelines.
